Would you like extras for your RBH patterns?
For most patterns I release, I make an extra and give it away free as part of what I call Looped In. Sign up here, or keep reading to find out what's included!
What counts as an "extra"?
Extras are anything I can create to make your knitting experience a little smoother. Sometimes I come up with them. Sometimes they're based on suggestions from testers or knitters like yourself. I'm always open to suggestions!
Here are some examples:
For Understoried, it's a tracker where you can check off rows and sections as you go.
For Willowfall, which has decreases sprinkled throughout, it's a stitch count tracker where you can double check that you have the right number of stitches between each set of markers at any point in the pattern.
For Coloresque, it's a planning worksheet that helps you create a truly custom version, helping with everything from color schemes and placement to making sure you have enough yarn for each section to turn your vision into reality.
Are the extras required to knit the pattern?
Nope. Not in the least. All Remade By Hand patterns are 100% complete as they are sold. You are totally welcome to skip the extras if they're not your thing. But if they are, they're here for you!
Kind of like how ice cream is delicious without chocolate sauce and whipped cream, but, well...you get the idea.
What else does Looped In include?
You don't have to get ongoing emails from me to access the library of pattern extras. Totally up to you. If you're interested, though, you can also sign up to hear from me now and then:
Pattern Perks emails go out once a month, on average:
You'll get subscriber-only discounts on new patterns (and sometimes yarn or other goodies).
Subscribers who include their Ravelry name when they sign up are automatically entered into thank-you giveaways for free patterns.
New-pattern emails always include access info for the Looped In library, so you can check out the pattern's corresponding extra.
For the first week or so, you'll hear from me every couple of days with a little getting-to-know-you fun!
Test knitting emails also go out once a month, on average. If you like to test knit (or think you might like to try it), I'll send you a quick email with a link to the details whenever I post a new test call.
